I would prefer us to defend BUT from just outside the opponent's penalty area. I'd love to see the use of a very high press as against Rochdale in the season opener. Also we need some orthodox wing play. We know from those early games that Agyei can play CF, has an enormous leap and likes to attack a defence head on. So a striker to back up for the existing injuries and a couple of nippy orthodox wingers in January please!
In direct reply to the question: I don't care how we play for the rest of the season as long as we have a decent run of results that confirm our midtable mediocrity.
And then focus on improving next season.

Unless the board changes no chance of improvement our release list at the end of this season needs to be 12-15 players long way to much crap at the club.

The football is too slow, ponderous and predictable, looking to pass backwards rather than forwards, ten touches before passing, several crewe players involved before the ball ends back at square one. The stats are similar to those of Artel last year, quite often we have more possession than the opposition but nothing at the end. It appears to me to be an inbred culture at the club, like ''throw ins'' until this year, not shooting unless you are in the 6 yard box, little variation on corner kicks so rarely threaten from them. We have all seen the same boring strategy.
Compare Man C, liverpool, and now Newcastle and Arsenal. to Tottenham Chelsea, Man U. Move the ball quicker and don't be so predictable. Job sorted!!!!!! When do I get appointed

Well fans should know and the reason I said that Dario ruined this club was based on the fact that he was the most successful manager here as proved by the results but that was because we had a mix of very good experienced players in the team plus some good graduates from the academy. So Dario thought that was the answer. We must become an academy based club and that era passed many years ago and the problem is the board could not see that at all and even with a new BoD they can't see it but how many of them know about football really and are in many ways stuck with a record like me posting the same stuff.... No, they saw some sucess with the academy which meant we are stuck with graduates that are not as good as they were or in most clubs. Dario once said after a 5-1 win years ago that he was not satified with the style of play as his idea was ten passes with the final pass 5 yards out before we scored. Unfortunately LB who was brought up with that cannot change that style and why a big clear out is required of the Board, all the managers, the non footballers and most of the players before we end up in the National league...Notice what the gate was at Stockport? Nearly 10,000!!!! We have truly been left behind!
