DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE bbc But tried to watch some cricket here and they had a woman broadcaster for the oz south Africa game turned it off.
Why cant they just do the proper things and broadcast woman's game and man vise versa. In our ozy rules they do the same man doing woman and woman doing mans games.
I Know the woman's rights so on but this is taking it too far.

In the women’s matches it tends to just be women commentating but that is deemed okay

I also don't like female sports announcers either & I watch a lot of sports, they always have such 'shrill-voices' which the studio sound engineers never neutralise down which actually really grinds into my inner-psyche so much I often up the bass on tv sound converter.

To damn many pundits anyway, as well - why cannot we just have a couple who can actually speak fluently (you know, you know, you know).

Although my Mum would be good viewings opinion wise - I know she'd like to put Roy Keane in front of her automatic tennis ball firing machine & if that Lineker bloke in England is still always rubbing his nose during his interviews then I'll add him to her list !

Keane is surely one of the better pundits?
