I was wondering about him too. Seems strange that Vinny has almost stopped playing as well. Miovski too has been a passenger in the recent Cheek games I’ve seen him playing in. Ramirez seems very unhappy as well. Something doesn’t seem quite right at the Club. I think that the Manager severely lacks the people skills that DM seemed to have in abundance - all of the players, including those on the fringe, need to feel valued and involved. It’s the same in any walk of life as these soft skills are so very important - like those in the immediately preceding post.

That being said you are spot about JG and his non existent people skills and that appears to be having a serious negative impact across the park and into the stands.
Hayes has been our most consistent and best player by a country mile this season,
And if he is now sitting on the bench because of a difference of opinion with JG then that right there says it all really.

I have no evidence on any fall-out between the manager and Jonny. In fact, did the former not say in pre-season that our 17 was the hardest trainer in the squad, was a source of inspiration to the youngsters he coaches as he moves towards that as a post-playing career, and that he’d no hesitation in ensuring that there was a contract on the table for him as long as he stayed fit and injury-free?
