"Hard to beat and gritty" was often referred to as defensive and settling for a point at the time. The benefit of time perhaps.

If we did become easier to beat then the stats say it's marginal at best and at quick first glance possibly not the case at all.

Some people preferred the football under NA, others under IB I'd imagine it's a fairly even split. As would be whether we progressed or regressed following the change. Whichever it was it was very marginal IMO. He certainly did more positive than just rejuvenate Adam Chicksen.
