Where have I seen goalkeeping stupidity like that before? oh yes.. I remember now….

It brought back memories of Wokings first goal too… there’s a pattern forming here…

I hadn't realised there was that many errors until you joined the dots.
According to Twitter, Slocombe is a 'very good' keeper at this level. Sorry but i don't see that at all. He's a liability for me, somebody that will no doubt make another error that will cost us more points this season. The huge problem for us is Wrexham have been incredibly lucky over Christmas. Chesterfield was rearranged, and they played a Solihull side decimated with injuries. We can't afford many more slip ups, personally i'd go and get Nathan Bishop, he was part of a Mansfield team that made the play off final last season.
It’s probably slightly disingenuous for me to suggest that the fault lies all with Slocombe… my personal thoughts are that the reckless nature of trying to pass the ball out of dangerous situations is forcing mistakes, not just Slocombe… all of the defence are guilty.
I’ve got no problem in confident, no panic, accurate passing out of defence… but it’s rarely achieved without some level of stupidity from our current line up. Every home game i go to, the people around me are on the edge of their seats whenever the defence start their suicidal somersaults… it’s become a standing joke.
It’s reckless and it’s going to cost us the title… a title that is well within the grasp of this squad.
Aside from the Slocombe issue nice to marvel at the pass from Palmer to Nemane for the second goal and the pass from Castro for what should have been the winner.
We’re miles better than all these teams, draws with the likes of Oldham and Southend and nearly blowing the Maidenhead game is mental.
Absolutely nowt wrong with a new fresh abbreviation on here UTM.
Unsurprisingly I'm delighted we play out from the back, sets the tone for how I want to see us play but if I was the head coach I would be very angry with Sam's decision making on this occasion. As suggested this far out from goal has to mean put your foot through it regardless where it goes.
