Generally he's is a good keeper for non league level but he's being asked to play a style that he isn't used to after years of hoof it. The goal at Oldham you can see that he's thinking "I need to play it out to feet" When sometimes a good old boot it up field in the old if in doubt kick it out mode. If we had a young keeper like Patterson we would be flying even higher. Hopefully we'll see Brooks given a chance if we fail to go up.
