    We have half the number of hospital beds than we had 30 years ago .

    2.5 per one thousand population , France have 5.2 beds per one thousand people .

    We've also had a population explosion since the turn of the century around 10m more since 2000 .

    It doesn't take a genius to work out why the NHS is struggling .
