It is not an implication, I am merely asking why he uses that term and for a certain type of player. He doesn't use it when Barlaser/Lindsay/Ratbone aren't delivering.

I think we'd have seen the best of BNC if we'd gone to a back four and used him as an out and out wide player because he's not a wing back.
In my opinion he would have been far more effective in that position than Chieo ever has been or ever will be. Simple reason, BNC is quicker and knows how to cross the ball.
Good luck to him in his future career.

Nothing to do with colour just happens Norton-Cuffy played better earlier this season. Ajayi he was consistently good all through seasons with us. Harding Chieo same.

I have trouble deciphering gru-somes posts at the best of times but I don't reckon he meant anything untoward.
Fairweather Academy player may mean BNC was more than capable when the rest of the team are playing well and went a little anonymous when we were struggling in games.
You may be interpreting it differently to me. His remark went way over my head as they usually do lol.
