You do realise that every time a club changes its manager the new guy inherits whatever playing squad is there. That is fact.
It is then up to the new guy to get the best out of those players. That is also fact. People often call it the "new manager bounce."
Unfortunately, so far, Taylor has failed to do that and we are in free fall.
I imagine TS will give him time but don't expect a lot of investment in this transfer window because January is notoriously difficult and decent players are unlikely to be clamouring to come to a struggling team.
We appear to be in football free fall, and with no apparent fight it’s hard to imagine this side managing so much as one more point between now and the season’s end. We’d not make much impact in L2 on current showings
Being crap I can live with if the effort and hard work is there - which begs the question, why isn’t it? Is this down to how we play or just a lack of pride and application?
View from an Ipswich mate of mine.
We absolutely blew Rotherham away today but have to say they were a shadow of any of their sides under Paul Warne.
We were **** but we stuck with Warney when he was **** so why are you wanting MT out already?
Only keeper , Rathbone doing basics and tracking runners etc.
Heads have gone.
It’s a state of mind and most of ours dont have it anymore.
