Thread: Richard Wood

Richard Wood is a Rotherham United legend...end of.
Unless of ofcourse you have an "Agenda" with him and the previous manager, which seems to go hand in hand,it just shows how thick some of our fans are.

Possibly, but do they need an older person, of which he is above all the team, to tell them what to do? If that's the case, lord knows how they'd perform if say Stewart brought in a 3O year old Manager.

The Ipswich Manager is 5 years younger than Taylor and hasn't even been in post for a month.

I'm sure we can give examples of more clubs with younger managers, but we are talking about Rotherham's situation.

Richard Wood has been a fixture here for years, and would likely see himself taking over as manager. Someone else comes in at a similar age with less experience of championship football and is now in charge it might pee him off it might not. It happens in plenty of other work places, some people (not all) prefer senior (and presumed more experienced / greater technical ability) people to be in charge.

That could be the problem, like some have mentioned about players might still have Warney in their head.
Yes there’s been interviews with certain thing still being used, Wood told MT about not walking on the badge rug or you receive a fine

Maybe some rules are good but MT shouldn’t be living in a previous managers life in the club/training ground.

Get it out their system it isn’t healthy
