Reading the Wrexham forum you can tell they think we are a real threat if Williams stays. They're giddy at the thought of Williams/Langstaff leaving. Crazy to think that an unknown coach and a 50k striker has the moneybags rattled so much.

I find it funny how both sets of fans are trying to make out that they aren't fazed by the other club, while the other club's fans are apparently obsessed with them and terrified. Can we both just admit that this is a tense season with two outstanding teams battling it out for the title (at least at the moment), and as a result we're all interested in each other's news and results?
That wasn't directed at you, Kyle, by the way. Just an observation in general.
On RedPassion they seem to be under the impression that it was LW who signed Langstaff for Notts and also that he will be able to simply 'take him' (and Ruben apparently!) anywhere he likes.
Notts plucked LW out of football obscurity and have given him the perfect platform to go and showcase his abilities, I'd hope he would be reward that with some loyalty.
But...if Portsmouth treble his money and he moves closer to home (I believe him and his partner have a newborn too) no one could begrudge him the move, we would all do the same in our profession.
I'm impressed with that considering Macca signed weeks before LW was even at the club. Say he does go to another club i'm pretty sure Notts would protect themselves, short term by saying he can't sign any players from us. I'm not being funny with the way they are talking about Williams, it makes me wonder whether they'd rather have him than Parkinson...
