I'll put these together now. League games only.

    1. Ronnie Moore - 40 wins out of 163 = 24.54% win rate
    2. Steve Evans - 13 wins out of 55 = 23.64% win rate
    3. Paul Warne - 26 wins out of 129 = 20.15% win rate
    4. Matt Taylor - 3 wins out of 16 =18.75% win rate

It is a bit alarming that our managers seem to be getting worse at this level. Could be due to a widening gap between rich and poor clubs also though.
Definitely due to a widening gap, especially since parachute payments were introduced 10 years ago. Since then, in our 5 full Championship seasons we have P230, W48, D59, L123 (21%, 26%, 53%) so our 'average' season would see us getting 41pts with those percentages. That just goes to show how much better than our 'normal selves' we have to be just to avoid relegation.

I love these statistical comparisons because they are so misleading. They rarely combine like with like

For example Alan Shearer, 63 England caps and Alex Scott, 140 England caps

Which one is the best footballer?

Misleading? Wouldn't your comparison be like trying to equate our L1 form with our Championship form?

I know which one I'd get in bath with.
