    Garang Kuol signs for Hearts

Confirmed loan deal until the end of the season. If he does well i'm guessing he might join our squad next season? Hopefully with Fraser and Murphy moving on..

Fraser will be gone this window I reckon.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Murphy go out on loan.

Good more for Kuol though, hopefully he does well and it shows him the step up etc.

I think, with the amount of gametime Murphy has had, Howe rates the job he does enough to keep him here at least until the end of the season.

i get the impression Murphy is a valuable member of the squad in terms of what he brings to the 'spirit' of the group with his energy, enthusiasm and workrate and, for where we are currently in this 'project', I think maintaining that spirit is almost as important to Howe as a player's actual ability is. I certainly think he'll be harder-nosed about things as we continue to improve and upgrade the squad but, for now, I think Murphy's safe.

And, much as I think he's a Chimpo-standard player, I can't help but like him. Did you see that clip of the players going back into the dressing room? He was rubbing his hands with genuine glee and giggling. Was mint to see.

I think you’re right and Lascelles plays the same role in the squad. Not really good enough now, never mind where we want to be, but important to the spirit of the team.
You can’t argue with what Eddie does so long as we keep getting positive results and the phrase ‘if it ain’t broken, then don’t try to fix it’ springs to mind.

Made his debut tonight for Hearts.

Came on at 77 mins. Some good runs and made a brilliant defense splitting pass that the other bloke should of scored

Can we recall him from his loan spell in time for Fulham???
