    I've just made 70 and have now been invited to have a shingles jab, any conspiracy theories or scientific evidence to suggest I shouldn't have it?

    you could pretend your 69 (or younger), Kritti.....so are deemed to have a healthy enough immune system so as not to need one, or, you could pretend to be over 79, that age group being considered to have too weak an immune system to be worthy of it. Then perhaps there's no need to pretend, in that You determine it to be unnecessary.


    Also, from what I read, there's 2 shingles vaccines on offer, Zostavax , a live vaccine. 1 dose, and Shingrix, non-live 2 dose.

    ....after a court case (2020) it seems that Zostovax is no longer sold in the U.S.
