so 17 days into the window and we have had two in and two out, but still no forward, I hope we are going to see some more coming in this week

We have two player for every position in the back four, even without McCart,Bola and Hull so we are ok there!
So presently we need a back up keeper , two central midfielders, two wide midfielders/wingers, one/ two strikers, that’s 7 players needed and that’s without losing Chieo or Dan ! So much work to do !

Hmm, do you think that's likely? Would be nice if it happens but it would mean doing something the club has never done before in January.

I don't think the club can say they have backed the manager if they don't bring in the players he has asked for, we clearly need 2 forwards as a minimum, I don't think we need another central midfielder, we let one go for godsake because we wouldn't play him, he has walked stright back into his parent clubs team and he has good championship experience, the chances of bringing in someone better than High that won't be first choice is very slim.

And MT needs 7 players. If MT buys 1 player for the 2 million would TS be classed as backing MT.

If MT brought 7 freebys in and paid them what we are paying eaves it would cost TS approx 1.2 million. Would that be classed as backing MT?

If MT wanted 7 players and they cost 500k each and all wanted 10k per week. If TS said no does that mean he's not backing MT

To be honest i am in two minds at the moment, the two signings so far are sensible good solid decisions. We were always going to send a few out on loan to help them get games and reduce the wage bill, McCart was a surprise as he is naturally left footed and was a main signing in the summer, however it is what it is. I think we all know we need a centre forward in sooner rather than later, if we don't get one i cannot se us staying up, I suppose we have to wait and see.
