Schar and Botman seem to feed off each other, which is great quite frankly.

Alot has come from Trips marshalling though - our most important signing of recent times.

    Absolutely this.

    As pivotal as Rob Lee.

Further proof of near perfect defense. That great reaction save Pope, was that their first SOG, was the one miscue.
That said, we need like commitment coached up front for me. It isn’t just a question of quality for me. We are sending so many crosses across the face but no one is attacking the posts.
If that is the attack from the wings, great, love that style of football. But, it requires intention to work.
Love these lofty expectations. This run could/should have been +6 or +8 points more to the bottom line.

If you put in the likes of Robert, Shearer etc into this team I think they would start to concede straight away.

The defensive job done by the front 3 and middle 3 must not be underestimated.

Aye, but the other side to that is that a team with those two in would also have scored against Palace and Leeds. (I disagree about Shearer, though-he would have been perfect for an Eddie Howe side)

Aye, Shearer was maybe not the best example.

However, point is if were going to find someone to replace say Longstaff, or a new winger on the left so we can play Joelinton in the center - the have to track back and run as much as them.

Let’s face it, Shearer would be perfect for any side.
