Well regardless of the year that's gone, I thought today we put in a workman like performance and earned a good point against a difficult opponent. I actually thought Brentford would do a number on us.

Are we finally making progress under Ted? I think the match against Forest will tell us all, as that is a game we must get 3pts from, anything else and he should go.

And no I am not a fan of Ted and think we need a better manager, but if the team starts picking up points and wins...

Had a disargeement with a fellow Leeds supporter towards the end of the match.

They kept saying things like "we are only half way through the season" and "But it's Brentford"

So when are we going to start playing and winning. A Youtuber called Just Joe put up a screen shot the other week. It took the top six teams out of the league, results against them as well. Do you know where we were sat? Second from bottom, only Southampton below us.

And since when have we looked at Brentford and been happy with a point at home? They came up a season after us. I'm not knocking Brentford but surely our sights should be aimed higher.

Jessie's post match interview hye said "things are coming together". Sorry to rain on his parade but other teams around us are winning games and"things are coming together" for other teams as well.

It's a good point well made. Yes we should hope to be better than Brentford but that's football, this season we aren't, so it a good point to have gained.

I get the point about the top six as Ted has said our league is about beating the teams around us which we aren't or haven't been achieving.

However the last 3 matches have been OK performance wise and that has me wondering if this is where we turn around our season?

Would bringing in a new manager give the team the lift they need or would it have the opposite effect if they are getting the hang of Tedball?

That's why I feel the Forest game is *****. If we win and win well it might be enough to keep Ted in the short term, anything else, even a close or lucky win and he should go imo.

So is this the Forest who were rock bottom of the league and are now 3 pts above us 🤔

Exactly, that's why I feel its a make or break game for Ted.

The cushion to the bottom 3 is now 1 point. Jesse had the opportunity to change up that game with an influx of subs - his reading of match situations seems as poor as some of his tactics.

The clueless Cowboy would perhaps be marginally less annoying if he said anything that made sense. His post-match diatribe included the following:

"But for me, I've been really focusing on the performances, the tactical clarity, the individual confidence, and for me, it's clear, it's very, very clear that we're moving in the right direction. So, you know, we’re maybe a few moments where we have a little bit of an advantage in the attacking third and maybe a clever little combination or a little bit more cleaner quality in the last third from getting three points out of that match, but very stable defensively on set pieces very stable."

What a pile of unmitigated manure.

It would be better for Ted if he just skipped the post match interview or said something like "we just played a team with 1/20th our budget and played them to a solid nil-nil draw at Elland Road""

Unfortunately, that seems to be what he does these days. Everything slows down or stops altogether when it reaches him. I wasn't sure who was supposed to be playing on the left wing. I assume it should have been Wilfried but, for most of the first half, Harrison was almost holding his hand. Not only did these restrict the space for our best player but also left gapping holes towards the middle of the park.

Hmm, what the team needs (and this is pure speculation, I could be wrong) is someone with the ability to recognise this and put it right. I'm pretty sure other teams have them. I think they're called a manager or coach maybe?
