    Excellent signings for me. Probably signals Eaves departure to Bolton which frees up another space, probably for Russell.

    If Eaves does leave, he will have completed a remarkable spell at RUFC. Not for his goalscoring prowess, but for the patience and encouragement he has received from the crowd who have been yearning for him to score but have been gravely disappointed. Rarely will an underperforming CF have received such tolerance from an otherwise demanding public! I think it can be put down to desperation!
