Days of the week, months of the year.

Does anyone associate days of the week with colours? It's something I have done as long as I remember.
Monday is pale green, Tuesday Royal Blue, Wednesday is Brown but with a bit of biscuit in it, Thursday Pink, Friday is Navy Blue, Saturday Orange and Sunday dark grey.
My two favourite weekdays have always been Thursday and Friday.

I see the year as a circle and the months as segments, December and January fill the bottom, then all the months up to August are squashed together on the right hand side. September is eleven o clock then October and November fill the left hand side.

This is why people are so fascinating. The ways we find for ourselves are always more interesting than the ways that are imposed upon us, via the school curriculum for example.
