What's funniest about this thread is that I bet none of the boomers on here even knew that one stadium in Wales had a choir playlist, yet they've managed to collectively get upset about one song being removed from the said playlist that they've only just discovered existed.

And they're the ones who brandish around the word snowflake!

Do they have a play list! Absolutely incredible news. They sound professional as if they have to pay for a license or something.

Have all stadiums got one, Do DJs practice or just go 'eeny meeny' when selecting songs.

Most Tories have higher education levels than Labour voters.

Leader of the opposition - Born in London and raised in Surrey, where he attended the selective state Reigate Grammar School, which became an independent school while he was a student. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Leeds in 1985 and gained a postgraduate Bachelor of Civil Law degree at St Edmund Hall at the University of Oxford in 1986

Might explain the bias to certain things

Glad we keep you entertained. You’ll no longer be young before you know it, look after yourself cos it goes in the blink of eye. The louder you scream the faster we go.

I don’t have an argument with discouraging songs that celebrate the revenge killing of women. However, I don’t buy the premise that it’s only an older generation that somehow deserve disapprobation for buying into these songs in the first place. Take ‘Delilah’ out of circulation if you must; but you should remove - and disapprove of - about 30% of all rap and similar songs of the last ten years to be consistent.

Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose…

Totally agree CT but not sure that there is any such disapprobation (nice word!) of the elders for this for buying into olde content with so called outmoded thinking. Certainly not from me - I love many very un-pc songs and shows.

I think that the point is missed though that in most cases, it isn't any particular widespread outrage from the gen pub that causes any withdrawal of songs and TV shows from playlists - it's the companies themselves that are making a commercial decision to ensure that their brand appeals to a wider market. Don't understand that people get so outraged when private industries have a right to make their own commercial decisions - unless we want to get all Marxist on them and forcet hem to keep content in that they don't want.
