Form minority leagues by all means, but earn your place in the pecking order.
It’s the sense of entitlement that bothers me. A couple of weeks ago when it was freezing they were asking how football at such a high level (WSL) was being postponed. Demanding under soil heating.
Sorry they might play for Man City women, but for all intents and purposes it’s NOT Man City. The womens teams at the big clubs are subsidised and for that they are fortunate.
The womens game is in its infancy, and I’m sure as more money goes in to it, then they will get better facilities. Until then, they should be thankful for the financial support they get, continue to grow the game and WSL as a product.
    What next? Equal pay.

Having only listened to the last 30 minutes of the game on Radio Nottm and from reading the posts on here it seems that today this team showed us what they are made of. The strongest toughest qualities that many of us have always wanted them to be at this level. It was a coming of age so to speak. We not only won the game but won the physical and mental battle. Especially in what seems to have been a day where everything was against us including a referee who seems to have reached the poor standards of Joe Ross at Dorchester all those years ago. Ironically named Paul Johnson and shares the same surname as the Torquay manager. It was 12v10 and we did the job and did it well.

Once again Wrexham have batted the ball back in our court. We can only control what we do so we can go to Chesterfield with confidence and with a big following. Lets make it count and be the 12th man and come back to Nottingham with another three points.

There is a huge myriad of opinions on this game. Torquay fans having a crack at us for time wasting and falling over, both sides seem to think the ref was against them, was it a soft pen ( cant see from the limited highlights). What I saw was that they should definitely had a sending off and when we rather ridiculously went down to 10 men we did everything that was asked of us and Torquay did not have even one decent chance in fact if Nemane had attacked them a bit more than he did we stood a much better chance of getting a third than they did a second. Bostock and Palmer in the same team works better away from home I think but is still suspect and Jody Jones look reasonable again when he came on. Did not think much to Austin. Generally a solid team effort. Cameron massively improved from midweek. I look forward to the ratings from someone that was actually there not watching it on the tele.

Seems like their fans are the same as their commentators, no objectivity whatsoever.
Stonewall penalty for us. Well done Aaron and Ruben deserves his goal for that pass alone.

Some stellar performances - Baldwin, Cameron, Bostock and Langstaff the pick for me.
Ruben would be right up there. He's always going to get frustrated at times, I just wish he'd channel it a bit more into hurting them with his play and a bit less into the ref and the other team. He's going to be a massive loss at Chesterfield.
Yeah, Austin was as poor as the others were great. IMO, he isn't at a NL promotion-winning level, especially this season.

Their manager,Johnson is a fg disgrace.

He clearly told his players to go out and try to injure our key players early in the game and the referee didn't stand up to it.

If Notts ever had a manager who did that I wouldn't set foot in ML again.

    The **** needs stringing up.

    Well done Notts !!

Imagine how we would be playing though if we had spurs in the next round of the FA cup, live in front of the nation, on main stream TV. We wouldn't put one solid tackle in and bottle every 50/50 !
Come Sheffield do us favour and focus on promotion and play your under 21's .... :-)

No other Notts team from our NL era wins this game. What’s most heartening right now is seeing us win games by standing up to the roughhouse tactics. 71 points after 30 games is an insane effort, truly phenomenal.
