As far as I am aware the SLO used to meet with Jim Thomson prior to every home game. I assume that the SLO will now meet with Greg Fenton who is the General Manager and/or Jim Thomson who is the match day commander before every home game at Dens Park.
Did I read on one of the threads that a member of the Dee4life board was at the last meeting?

If you read the start of Scottg’s topic you will read that the Chairman of the DSA and the SLO attended the last meeting with John Nelms where one of the questions was. Why is there no PATG.
That was an easy question for Nelms to answer whereas in my opinion it should have been why is there PATG for Away supporters attending home games at Dens Park but not for Dundee supporters.
I suspect that question would be ‘off limits’ to be asked to John Nelms.

I would resign then.....and he probably should do the same if that's how he feels.

Whether someone takes it up or not.

Everyone seems to be jumping to Nelms tune.

People need to start saying no.......it's all too easy for Nelms to steamroller over the top of everyone.

Thanks Islay. I went back to the start of this thread and found Dayster's comment. Does it matter who invited him? Full marks to DSA for making the invitation.

You need to realise that as far as I am aware two meetings took place.
The first one was between the Chairman of the DSA, the SLO and John Nelms.
The second meeting was the DSA secretaries meeting held a week past Saturday where the details of the meeting attended by the Chairman of the DSA, the SLO with John Nelms was reported to the members present.
Dayster’s post gives the impression that George McIrvine was present at the DSA secretaries meeting not the one with John Nelms.

It never happened as Dee4life were not invited to attend the meeting held on 27th January 2020 and they have never been invited to attend any subsequent meetings.
That doesn't answer the question why you think John Nelms won't meet with Dee4Life.
You're talking about them not being invited to a meeting three years ago!!!

The SLO attends ever pre-ops meeting. It's part of his role.
Two members of the DSA committee met with John Nelms - why did Dee4Life need to be invited? They don't invite the DSA when they meet with people from the club. It was a DSA meeting with the managing-director of the club. It was stated at the recent DSA member clubs meeting that the SLO, who is a DSA committee member went to the meeting as he was in the building anyway for the pre ops meeting.
Has the SLO ever been invited t a Dee4Life Board meeting? Not that I'm aware

That meeting was held when Ian Baird was put forward as the Dee4life nominated primary representative under the entrenched rights of the A shares.
John Nelms refused to accept Ian Baird’s nomination.

I agree with you and if it was me I would resign.
Then Nelms would have to advertise the SLO post.
I know that the club could not get anyone to become the SLO after John Burke previously resigned.
In my opinion the SLO should receive free admission to all the Dundee Football Club home games and be paid a salary by Dundee Football Club for carrying out the SLO role.
