Silly idea obviously....Why not give it to Skubala to end of season, exactly what was wrong with his game plan?

Could it be anything to do with the following?:
    1. The club are again flirting with relegation from the top flight
    2. There is uncertainty regarding the situation as to when/if any takeover will be completed
    3. And if so, by who? (Presume 49ers, but other whispered parties appear occasionally)
    4. The club only seem to want to offer an 18 month contract - even to their priority candidates, who may already have longer contracts in place.

    Hmmm...

Can you blame them? All those named to date either have solid prospects at their current club, e.g. Postecoglou with a cushy number at Celtic, Slot in with a prospect of winning Eredivisie at Feyenoord, Corberan having success with Baggies, same with Iraola with the added complication that the club don't want to let him go. Why would any of them choose to come to Leeds when they have so much better things to do at their current club?

We will end up getting someone who is out of work (hopefully NOT Gallardo who is another coach who can't speak English, a fundamental issue if speedy "course correction" is to be achieved at LUFC) and would have been pleased with Dyche but that ship as sailed, so Hassenhutl, Big Sam, Pulis seem more likely.

Out of all that, I would have thought Skubala has as much chance as any to keep us up, knows the players better than any newcomer would, and (almost) has nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Our team played hard. if you re watch that game we more than matched up with them. I know the new manager syndrome was at work but they genuinely were matching up with scum. Scum was dirty (esp Martinez), baldy was a homer, old trafford was rocking and it was a mid week game and yet we stayed focused. He also put Mckennie and Adams together. If I was a pro I wouldn't want to play against those guys! Even Firpo seemed to do OK.

I think they should talk to some of the players and get their take. I also think that Skubala should get a chance at ER. if they play well and win why not make sure we get a first choice coach (not a cast off or retread) or let him continue?

Slot has said no for now
    Corboran has indicated no
    Iraola - club says no
    Gallardo said no

Seem to be burning through the list quite quickly.

Can't understand that the jessy was groomed for Bielsas job, but they had no one lined up for the jessys job, even though we've been shyte for most of the season. Someone needs a kicking. Couldn't organise an orgy in a hur house. Laughing stock again.

    Non English speaking, definite no-no
Current coach from say Albanian Lg 3, no
    Experience of English football, yes
Journeyman here today / gone tmrw, no
If club is struggling to attract right candidate, then yes, stick with Skubala.
