Is that not a good trait to have being leader of a political party?

I was actually speaking to someone last week about her and said I wouldn't be surprised if she quit. Can only be so much shyte a person can take. Didn't expect it to be so quick though.

As for folk claiming it is the end of our quest for independence, like I keep saying, us coffin dodgers have got nothing to do with getting it, our youth triumph where we failed, as they haven't sooked on the stroop of the mainstream media.

Largely due to the 50% who want independence mostly all voting for the SNP as the only pathway to independence whereas the 50% that don't want independence split their votes across three parties.

Any MacHiavellian populist can offer a not-for-profit national energy company, lower class sizes, action on drug deaths, the dualling of the A9 and A96, a replacement for “the unfair Council Tax”, the re-instatement of Insch Hospital, reliable sea transport for the Western Isles, and pie suppers in the sky (©️ Bryan McNeill) to obtain votes.

The mystery is why the intelligent electorate we are told we have up here in the tundra, continued to vote for cerebrally-limited nodding dog candidates when such undertakings and offers have disappeared on the vote being delivered, generally because delivery of such promises is too difficult given the limited capabilities of the chancers, charlatans, and shoe-in careerists sent to both parliaments.

    And that’s fit I think.

    MacHiavellian love it,

Basically what you describe is politics' the wurld owe'r Manifestos are nae worth the paper they are written on theses days. Power is the driver for all politicians tasty remuneration inaw,, Narrowing it down the current SNP government such is the vetting process that anybody with any independent thoughts or policies are not selected seen as a threat to leadership and inner circle, Yes hims and hers only please (other pronouns available) Me personally have a selfish agenda I want Scottish Independence in my lifetime afore I kick the bucket, That was never going to happen with Sturgeon leading, New blood, energy, confidence and fight !! is now needed in Scotland and the deadwood kick tae **** The likes of Stewart McDonald Kevin Stewart Pete(comfy slippers) Wishart et'al. Takes time and I'm running out of that. And here's me thinking everything would come up roses once we kicked Thatcher out.. I phucking hate and love politics

I think you’re right. I think the party expanded too quickly, with not enough talent to plug the gaps. I think that’s why the FM stayed on for as long as she did*, as she knows it’s pretty much all shyte beneath her. The infrastructure projects you refer to may have had a better chance if we could just print the money off, like they do for HS2/Crossrail. Unfortunately, half the population think we’re not grown up enough for things like that. Better to let the Eton old boys & Wykehamists decide these things for us.

*resignation is a strange move for a ‘POWER HUNGRY B!TCH’. Maybe a couple of posters will be gracious enough to admit they were wrong about her

    Ach, calm yer jets, 57.
Pete Wishart will leads us to the land of milk 'n' hunny.

It's not so much a pool of talent in Scottish politics, more a spit.

She committed suicide trying to force a lie into law.
You know it, the evidence is all around but I doubt you’ll admit it
