If the Government borrows huge amounts of money and spends it by giving it to the public to buy what they want, I think that creates inflationary pressures. The question is was it the chicken or the egg. Did the Government's response to the virus create the inflationary conditions? I think the answer is an unequivocal yes. Read an interesting report that Sweden has serious social problems because of the large number of migrants they accepted. They were surprised that they did not behave like good socialists and immediately adopt their Swedish values. Gun crime and gangs now blight parts of Sweden in ways that they never expected. Their social services could not cope and surprise surprise gangs formed.

Yes, he does, thick and gulliable......why wouldn't he, most people still believe lockdown was necessary and will have to be repeated in the future 🙄

There did not have to be "govt intervention", it was mad scientist intervention and politicians either bottled it or gleefully embraced (the individual and Welsh prick) their enhanced powers.
