    Two years for Ash?

No, I'm not talking about a jail sentence but surely he has earned himself a new two year deal?

I agree, he's reinvented himself, Phoenix, Ash and all that.

Was sat at home with Mrs S yesterday afternoon, I checked my phone, it said, 'Barnes 78 mins (pen), Lockyer s/o 78 mins'. I started laughing and said to Mrs S, he's done it again has Ashley, got someone sent off and smacked the pen in. We were both then wondering just what he'd got up to this time, how had he got Lockyer wound up enough to get himself sent off.

Of course it was nonsense, it was nothing to with Ash, he just took the penalty, but it made me wonder, if Ashley can get into the heads of two fans 200 miles away like that, how does he effect the opposition defenders out on the pitch playing against him, head to head, elbow to elbow, backside to backside ? There was a fine example against Preston, they were terrified of him.

I watched the Millwall game yesterday on SKY TV and my wife said the two colossus at the heart of the Lions defence need to get ready to rumble on Tuesday night.
