I don't want to kick a good Woman when she's down. But this is also part of Sturgeon's legacy nobody beneath her was allowed to shine they were all Yes Men and Women, Alternative views and ideas were not encouraged so what we have now is a load of frightened sheep wandering around wonder if they should stand.. Its a Sh1te state of affairs,
You’re not far wrong.
Mediocrities promoted for their kiss-arse loyalty rather than capabilities or work ethic in seeing the tough ‘operational’ jobs through, whilst talking in rhetorical cliché-ridden loud voices about abstracts.
I’ve worked with dicks like that, and it was one of the reasons I got the fuçk out as soon as I could afford to.
Tell me a political party in the UK that isn't full on nodding dogs who lap up what they are told?
It's the same sorry state across all parties.
I'd go as far as saying that the elected goons don't hold much power anyway. It's the unelected ones in the background pulling the strings that worry me.
But the point is here DeeDon is it never use to be like this In the last few years democracy has bit by bit removed from the SNP membership and without doubt the main driver of this is one of those unelected power mad folk you talk of ... One Peter Murrell !
I'll post this wee link for you and try and give you an understanding of whats happening within the SNP. Please give it some serious thought.

I read it, but nothing in it surprised me. I suppose the only thing that did surprise me is that folk actually give a sh*t about what goes on behind the scenes in political parties. It's never going to change. The days of picking over policy in smoked filled rooms before presenting to conference are long gong and never coming back.
I'm not saying it is right, but it's what happens, hence why I don't follow any of it much. and don't put too much trust in any of them.
Of course your general perspective of Political parties is spot on, Factions roolBut I'd argue its slightly different with SNP a two pronged strategy is required 1 To present policies to the country as a whole.. policies the country likes and trust. 2 To fight for Independence its the second on where the friction lies passions run mighty high there.
