I think TS will give him more time but some of the things the manager does are baffling. I have no idea what today's initial line up was about or what he expected to achieve with Hugill isolated on his own up front.
The bench was even stranger with 3 strikers on it and not a midfielder in sight.
He appears to have marginalised Wood and Lindsay and seems too stubborn to bring either of them back into the fold even though time is running out and we are not winning enough games.
MT may eventually prove to be a good manager but as things stand he's got a hell of a lot of work to do to get there.
I agree with all that other than I'm not sure Wood and Lindsay are the answers. It's so frustrating because we have looked tantalisingly close to be heading for mid table recently and we seemed to take 5 steps back yesterday. The combined losses of Wiles and Morrison could prove to be the difference.

Same as Wood there's just something I don't like about Peltier. MT Chieo he's starting why not Harding? Kioso another should be given a chance. Lindsay on bench at least we don't need 3 forwards on the there. If Hall is out play Odoffin at centre back he's got some height. Tues

    Victor

    Harding Hall Humphreys Leo

    Kioso Coventry Rathbone

    Chieo Hugill Fosu

Correct about the boards. Where electricity is involved it's a health and safety issue so they are not allowed to climb over the boards. Maybe if the Ref had made an example of Coventry players kicking or throwing the ball away every chance they had, we would not have been having to fetch the ball like we did. Small moan but relevant.

The boards have been there all season but I only noticed it yesterday.
There are 3 along east stand, 1 on half way line, then others around 15yds from corner. Sat down on stools, unless they are watching game they cant see the ball. When the ball was left near east stand for ages before player fetched it, that is where one of them was sat, looking down assuming at their phone, someone in family stand should have told them to get ball, unless they have been told not to climb over the boards. The ball girl on east stand near north, had her phone to her ear.

It wont be same ball boys/girl's each game, and most of time ball goes out on same side as play is. Ball was over opposite side as cov player carried on and kicked it away with no booking for time wasting.

Barlaser too, we are struggling for goals or even someone to create chances, look at the assists table.

There's no doubt about it that the game changer was the dis-allowed goal by the the referee.Having seen the replay, this goal should have stood. The absence of any creativity from our midfield stood out and Dan Barlaser will be a massive loss to us.Should we have held on to Dan like we did with Smithy instead of taking the money?Short sighted? All the earlier talk of a very good window seems pretty distant. What we can do is change formation by bringing in Kioso and the Leeds lad.I'm not 100% sure Hugill is the right one for us.I would go for Kelly and Washington up front. We are still more than capable of staying up but we must start winning games. Can't comment on the game I didn't see it. We seem to be lacking leadership at the club and on the pitch, I agree with Gru there is something about Peltier that doesn't sit right with me, a strange thing to say but I don't get the impression he is a positive influence at the club. The loss of Morrison is huge in the two games he played we looked to have leadership and organisation oh and we won a game of football, remember what that was like. Unless something changes in the next 3 or 4 games to find a few wins I think we will struggle to get another 10 points and can see us finishing bottom, as other teams have brought in experience in the management chair or have started to get a few results and therefore confidence, imagine what the confidence levels are at Rotherham at the moment.

I don’t think Hugill is a problem when having a partner but lone striker is a problem for him imo, also he doesn’t jump so why Johansson used him has a target is laughable.

    Yes I’d agree with this
As others have said Playing one up front vs a team as organised as Cov isn’t going to provide many dividends
To be fair we did put the ball in the net though from a well worked move
If that had been allowed plus one of the Rathbone shots from the edge of the box had whistled it it’s a different game entirely
