Was there yesterday just watched brief highlights Arsenal getting a referee removed I believe from prem games our goal disallowed there was minimal contact with their keeper if any. That decision shows your lucks out even that early changed game. I was baffled by our team selection yesterday I'd sooner have Harding at left back than Bramall who doesn't know where he's aiming for when he kicks a ball. Come on MT I want you to succeed here make necessary changes on tues.

Some are saying Oddofin was shirt pulling, but on replays looks like Cov defender is holding Oddofins arm.

Howard Webb should have Stroud in to explain, with proof, what he saw, to rule out a legitimate goal.

The combined losses of Wiles and Morrison could prove to be the difference.
Jimmy, I'm not necessarily suggesting that Wood and Lindsay would be the answer but I am concerned that the manager appears to have simply frozen them out when others who are getting selected are not performing particularly well.
Richard Wood may be getting on in football terms but he always gives everything for the team and I reckon, if he'd been playing against Reading, Andy Carroll would not have got one free header at a set piece, never mind two.
Also is Bailey Wright really a better option?
Jamie Lindsay, whose form has admittedly been patchy, must have been as frustrated as hell to not even make the bench yesterday when it didn't contain a single midfielder.
Some people on here used to criticise Paul Warne for supposedly having his favourites but I'm becoming a little concerned that Taylor is the opposite of that and seems to have isolated a few whose faces don't fit.

None of us know what goes off behind the scenes.
Maybe MT is 100% correct about both.

Of course we don't but it doesn't stop speculation.
People used to make statements about the previous regime as if they were fact and maybe MT should be allowed some leeway about his approach although the intelligentsia on Twitter and Facebook would seemingly beg to differ 🥺

Michael Smith was the only decent striker we have had in past 5 years and now we have 3 big slow lumps upfront(2 of whom seem to be on lengthy retirement contracts) and an enthusiastic but skill short chaser. Doubt even the sorely missed Barlaser would get much response from that lot. When he left i think relegation was allbut confirmed. We are totally devoid of Championship skill and character and i just don't see 3 worse teams in the division. Far from being a successful transfer window it now looks something of a disaster. Do we not search for young hungry players with potential in the lower leagues ?

Yesterday we could not cope with Viktor Gyokeres, the Coventry City forward turned us
inside out, our game plan should have been a man marker on him.
Coventry City did their homework on Ogbene, putting 2 defenders on him, as soon as
he approached the 18 yard box with the ball.
Best pass of the game, was Tom Eaves to the Coventry City player, for them to score
    their 2nd goal.

Neither of Lindsay or Wood would have made a difference yesterday. We need to find a way to score goals. We make stupid errors at the back, but there isn't a huge gaping issue that Wood would fix, same with the midfield and Lindsay. Cut out the silly errors and we are generally solid enough. It is the other end. Minus Woody from corners, they won't make a difference. I'm not against either being involved BTW but they aren't the answer to our issues IMO.

I agree about others needing to be dropped if not performing.
