I thought Bridge was crap. Jones is far superior

I've seen limited clips of him in action for south end and he looks tidy , good running with the ball , but seemed to be cutting in from the left going with his right foot !?
This leads me to believe he is right footed , do we need a right footed left sided midfielder / defender ?
