He's very clever in positioning himself to invite a challenge and then he is probably the division's cleverest at making the slightest touch look like he has been hacked down. I would say Mullin is a cheat, but the referees in this division aren't good enough to spot it.

Don't worry Patto is coming back on loan just for the Wrexham game he will save any pennos he cheats

I don't think we should overly fixate on the Wrexham game. If we take care of business in enough of the other remaining games, it might turn out to be not as important as it appears.

Of course we don’t have any players that ‘cheat’.

Who cares what Mullin or any player does?

Personally I think some have detracted from what was a near perfect performance last night. I’d rather focus on how good we were. How good some of the individual performances were.

The equation is simple. We win all our games we get promotion. Same with Wrexham. Will either team do that? Unlikely.

I think we've gone up another level now that Bostock has settled in and is really starting to play, and with the addition of Jodi Jones. Right there you've got two good League One standard players (minimum), and when you add the likes of Langstaff, Rodrigues, Scott and Austin to that mix, you realise what a potent attacking force we've become. Not to mention the quality elsewhere on the pitch with players like Cameron, Palmer and Chicksen. I look at our squad today and I don't see anyone who isn't capable of making a telling contribution. A few years ago, half the squad was comprised of dead wood.

Last night was about as good as we've been. I honestly can't remember us keeping or using the ball as confidently and purposefully as we did last night, at any level. And off the ball, we were relentless. Four cracking goals to boot.

I think when we're on our game, we're the best team in this division. We already knew we played the best football, but last night showed that it can be utterly ruthless as well as pleasing on the eye.

The problem is, Wrexham keep winning. Doesn't matter if they win playing silky football or do the usual dive-and-pen routine, a win's a win. Don't expect referees to do us any favours when it matters. Let's just focus on maintaining the level of performance last night, one game at a time.
    Good post.
I think Wrexham are more likely to crack than we are. They've got injuries, fatigue and us to worry about. The pressure is really building on them as we enter the home straight. I think they deserve to be promoted but not ahead of us. I have a feeling the game at The Racecourse Ground (shortly to be renamed the Mickey Mouse Stadium?) on April 10th might not turn out to be as pivotal as people are thinking.

The fact is that Mullen is a very skilled player, he is L1 level at least, maybe even championship level ,

Wrexham fans were looking forward to us stumbling along in February because of our "tricky" month. It has been tricky on paper, but with one game to go, we've shown just how good we are as a team. Taking nothing for granted on Saturday as Dagenham can be unpredictable, but we've had an amazing month so far.
