    The important question now.
Is he in charge and on the bench for the next game?
We need some strings pulled and arses kicked immediately.

sure he must be - enough time to take control for that game.

Think he tends to play 442 and variants thereof so slight change in set up.

If he is playing a front 2 that may suit Bambi a bit more

He met with players yesterday. He also presented a video presentation to the board that showed areas he thought we could do better. He also has a reputation as a taskmaster so he's likley already at Thorp working with them today.

Based on that he should be ready to go. I hope so. we need that new coach bounce.

Taskmaster sounds a refreshing change to how I imagine some of Ted’s dialogue

Ayling - so boss how do we achieve this calmness and lack of fear.

Ted - well Luke if you grab handfuls of grass, look at the sky and breathe out of your eyes like an iguana then feelings of calm will wash over you. You can then recall that feeling in games.

Ayling - right boss but what about defensive tactics.

Ted - just concentrate on being calm and compressing the pitch and all will be well. Play without fear and we will soon be European champions.

Rest of the squad under their breath - chumpions in the EFL more like

He won't be on the bench as the EFA will delay his permit

Unless UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman KC barrister is a closet Man U fan then Javi will be in charge from the off.

Problem is the FA rules which state that an incoming manager must have managed a club in what the FA regards as a ‘top league’ for a cumulative total of at least 36 months, or two years consecutively, within the five year period immediately prior to the date of his application.

Gracia’s application process becomes less straightforward, because the last 5 years have seen him in charge at Watford for 18 months, Valencia for nine months and Qatar Stars League side Al Sadd for six months, so he comes up just short of rule requirement.

As a skilled worker he can quickly obtain a work visa via UK Super Priority Service - the eligible applicants can make a UK Skilled Worker visa applications & receive a faster decision, usually within 24 hours for a fee of £1200.

Let's give the bloke a chance, people questioning his credentials, he can't be worse than "Ted", as long as he has a strategy and plays players in their positions.

Given our recent record of managerial appointments, with one significant exception, I think we're all entitled to "question the credentials" of anyone we bring in, particularly in the circumstances surrounding our most recent skilled acquisition process. In terms of "giving the bloke a chance", sure but let's not fool ourselves that he "can't be worse than Ted". He can, but we're ALL hoping he isn't.

That last bit is key, players have been played out of position for almost the last calendar year (and in some positions a bit before), and not many of us have worked out why (other than the LB situation, that none of us can figure our why it hasn't been resolved a LONG time ago). If Gracia can correct the stupidity of playing round pegs in square holes and exploit (in the best possible way) the skills that we know our squad has, then he might, just might, make us competitive again, we will see.

There's no "must be" about it. His coaching record isn't enough to qualify for the rapid issue of a work permit, without it he won't be in charge in or out of the dugout against Southampton. If (big "if"?) he can translate his thinking into action on Skubalas part, that may not be an issue. However, yet again, it shows was a monumental cluster-f00k this managerial appointment has been, and how f00king incompetent the upper echelons at LUFC have to be to "manage" to butt-f00k LUFC for the ump****th time.

Whether we survive in the PL or not, Radrizzani, Kinnear and most of all Orta should be dispensd with.
