It was credited to Bunky Oden (sp?) and possibly a co-writer on the Tons Of Sobs label, as I recall. I think Koss hit peak Koss tone and emotion-wise in the short solo on Oh I Wept. Or the full-length The Stealer.

Edit: Spotify says that it’s James B Oden’s song. I’ll check the second pressing vinyl later when I dare to open the press in the tiny ‘spare’ room.

Every one of their albums has been my favourite at some time, although I still feel they phoned in Free At Last a little, even though online Free fans rate it among their best. Quite a bit of good quality live material’s come to light, and has been cleaned up. YouTube’s a goldmine.
