Now that is a guy who could do a job for us now. None of this Mulgrew and Bowman chat they were good players in their day but we need a coach/manager in right away who can drill the team into a cohesive unit not a number of players put out on a pitch who quite frankly don't seem to recognise one another or know what to do.

I think folk need to realise Martindale won't be coming to United.
For starters why would he leave Livi to work at a club likely to get relegated. And we would have to pay a fee which Ogren wouldn't agree to.

What we need is to punt Fox tonight and look for a coach that's not working, offer a contract to end of season with a large bonus for keeping us up.

That coach would need to be a) experienced, ie know players, how to assess strengths weaknesses and how to blend them together
    b) capable of motivating the existing players to get better performances.

I'm not recommending him as such but someone like Neil Lennon might just get a tune out of this bunch. The carrot for any coach coming in short term to keep us up must surely be the job is his moving forward.

This assumes there's a vacancy and right now I'm not convinced there's going to be because I don't trust Asghar and Mr Ogren to act immediately and do the right thing.
But we should be clearing out Fox Crawford and Mulgrew tonight.

    It's a start.
Crawford and Mulgrew need binning too.

If the club think that they can get away with giving Mulgrew the job I think there will be a really big negative reaction to that.

Mulgrew's getting some stick. What's this based on exactly?

Put it another way, do you want him as our first team coach?
