Looking forward to it surprisingly. Marvin talks a good game it’s now time some of the players get their finger out and starting making more of an effort. Goals remain a worry and with Reilly away on loan that’s another goal option out the window.
Top match at Palmy tomorrow, great weather and a good away support, - with our Marvin expecting a response from his players, - what's not to like?

The Bartman talks well but actions speak loader than words.
Hands up and the marginally better team won today. Plenty of effort and hard work but we don't carry much of a goal threat which wasn't helped when Kebia went off injured early on. I thought that McKechnie had his best game in a while. Still a work in progress for Marvin five weeks in but Dunfermline are a very well disciplined and good passing side at the top of the league on merit.
Yes but they show the competitive nature of the match does it not?
Guys, I'm your ultimate glass half full person, but yesterday was not good. Plenty of effort, yes, but a few questions I would like to ask:
1) Marv I reckon you will be a top coach, but why at 4.15/ 4.20 on Saturday did you not freshen things up when the game was clearly slipping away? A double substitution with Lee and Ross might have made a difference.
2) Regardless, some regular shooting practice is in order please as per another posting "what's happened to the goals?"
3) In your post match discussion can you ask why Lewis (when played through on the left wing) did not continue his run and instead cut back against 2 players? Also why did Paton stop when the ball evaded the keeper and defender which if he'd kept going and stuck out a toe coukd have brought a goal. It's easy to be wise in the stand, but these points need to be raised in post match discussion to improve matters, especially if you have a recording of the game.
4) Why do we insist in taking free kicks quickly and placing the recipient of the pass under pressure? It completely defeats the purpose of a free kick.
5) Often our keeper similarly placed our defenders under pressure when a good clearance would provide immediate relief. It's great to build from the back, but if you do it all the time, the opposition get wise to if and punish you.
6) in the first game after Marv took control, the throw ins were taken very quickly, but that seems to have stopped, as has some of the intensity.
7) Players must play to the whistle. We almost lost a 2nd goal in the first half when our lad was held by the wrist. He was fouled, but the referee thought otherwise and we should have been punished.
8) Up front we play some lovely passing football, but we over elaborate and try to thread the needle, when rather than taking the extra touch ( which is closed down) we should just get a shot on target.
9) Dunfermline were excellent at getting the early ball into the box and it caused us all sorts of problems. We should aim to do the same.
I know this is a long winded post, but a huge part of the modern game is post match analysis, and rather than simply criticising for the sake of it, I'm trying to be constructive.
Mon the South!
Saturday was a result we almost all expected and just accepted. The performance was so flat and we had no threat going forward. At one point during the second half I looked round at the extremely quiet fans on the terracing and couldn’t believe how many were on their phones rather than watching the football.
Bartley has a massive rebuilding job on his hands in the Summer. He gets that wrong and we’re in serious bother.
