How long do we have to wait (and we have no time anyway!), for this.....

"If we can solve the goal scoring bit we will be fine this season.". Statement of the blindingly obvious, shame our board are (and have been for nearly a season now), seemingly oblivious to the fact.

Fair point on the scoring front but from previous games I have been to this season we look miles better defensively and much more solid.

You can also see Gracia is trying to impose a structure and way of playing that works every game as opposed to let’s be positive and create chaos.

Long way to go but a lot of positive steps being taken.

Rodrigo can’t get back soon enough and surely some of the youngsters who have been banging then in for the u21/a need more game time given how ineffective Bamford seems to be at the moment.

His job is to score goals and bust a gut to get into the right positions above all else and it isn’t working at the moment.

Mitrovic was interesting to watch last night taking very different positions and often looking disinterested (possibly deliberately) but then making runs at the right time when the ball might come for him to score. We coped with that pretty well bar the offside goal but you could see that was his key and main aim which it wasn’t for us.
