Also Kilmarnock, opening game, and Celtic at Parkhead - there's another 3 points lost to injury time goals.

Yeah, I thought about also mentioning those two as doing reasonably well, supposedly being happy in the job but then suddenly and inexplicably jumping ship during the close season.

For me, those two, along with Neilson, were given the opportunity to move on. As soon as they informed the BOD they were open to discussions with the interested teams, the board told them to bail. I get the impression that MO & TA don't want anyone at the club unless they are 100% committed, which all three of these managers showed they weren't.

In the press rumours circulating today more than one has said that "United are willing to give Levein full control"

So are the press making it up or who is feeding this to the press? Either way, not good.

The press these days don't even bother investigating stories. They just feed off each other, and Facebook, Twitter etc.
Constantly throw in words like "could" " are likely too" "probably" etc etc. Means fcuk all.

I would like, whoever gets the job to have full control, but unless that means Tony is on his pony, I can't realistically see that happening.

    Fingers crossed tho.....

At the end of the day, there are plenty of folk who know what's going on and know a hell of a lot more than what's being said in the press. Doesn't necessarily mean it's Asghar that's leaking it, as suggested the other day.

Ive always gone by the thinking that once is an accident, twice is a coincidence and 3 times WTF is going on or WTF are you playing at!

Without listening to rumours, i questioned at each resignation as to why 3 managers jumped as soon as they could, and when a well respected former manager says he cant work under the current regime, then that just adds to my thinking the issue lies in the management above the head coach.

As to it being a board decision, i have serious doubts that the first point of contact acted in the best interests of the club or the owners.
