Ray Trew bought the club, or a huge debt and started his tenure with one arm tied behind his back because of having to finance the debt. He had to sell to Hardy who had less money than him and down we spiralled. Hardy went sh@t or bust when he couldn't afford to service Storries legacy debt and now here we are, four years in non league.
Technically the Storrie/Scardino debt was wiped with admin. Munto was what has caused us the issues we have to this day. I can understand why Trew didn't send us into admin, but I think with the rules, we'd have still gobe up as champions with a pre pack administration and cleared most of the debt. Unfortunately that debt was built upon until now where it's quite eye watering. Thankfully, our owners seem to be balanced and have a plan and strategy but it's mainly Munto.

Interesting fact, we probably never would have gone inti admin in the first place with Scardino had the terrorist attacks of September 11 never happened. GM finance were supposed to be financing stuff when the attacks hit and they pulled out

Always a handful(apart from when he played for us) because of his physicality part of the Woking side that did a job on us at ML
Unfortunately I called it when they signed him 🙈

Funny football, how stevenage should have been relegated a few years ago and got away with it , and are now looking at promotion to league 1

I am still bitter about Macclesfield staying up at our expense, they should have been thrown out that year has they had not paid anybody for months, what was even worse they never even played any games the following season

Not a very reliable source but according to The Sun, Anthony Patterson is in line for a call-up to the next England squad:

Tahvon Campbell has signed on loan for Aldershot from Rochdale.

He had a cracking start to last season with Working at this level. Could be a good signing for them.
