May be controversial but having only seen Newman in three games I think Brighitti (forgive me if spelling is wrong TTT) is the better choice for tomorrow. He didn't look comfortable up at County, his kicking was very suspect throughout and obviously he had a hand in the first goal (no need for him to be there). Obviously Brighitti was crucified for St Johnstone game (quite rightly so) but he had looked a bit better prior to that.

At least Newman isn't a C U Next Tuesday though

Brighitti looking better however was still dreadful and costing us goals on a weekly basis, e.g. the previous week against Killie. Plus his confidence and that of his team mates will be shot, not that it will necessarily be much better with Newman. I've yet to see him play, but in the Swansea and County highlights he has lost a couple of dreadful goals. I'd still stick with the young guy, I was actually amazed Fox didn't pack the defence a bit last week and try and protect him. This team might have obvious flaws in midfield and up front, but these goalkeepers alone have cost us points and destroyed the belief/confidence in the side.

Not in the slightest. Hearts' offer wasn't on the table when ours was, so there was no choice to be made.

Fact is, he verbally agreed to join us. McNamara then came back and told us he could get a better offer for his Clark down south and if we wanted him, we had to pay more than we'd initially agreed. Asghar quite rightly told McNamara, who was calling our bluff, to f*ck off, hence why Clark was left with no option but to settle for second choice at Hearts once the window had closed. Why do you think no one signed him during the transfer window? Because his agent was trying to milk every club dry for his own benefit.

On reflection I bet the club wished we'd offered £10,000 a week. Still would have been saving us a fortune as opposed to relegation

This is the one area that will **** us up , been horrendous all season , Aussie always has a mistake in him as we saw against the fermers and Newman no any better as we saw last week at first goal and yes , that was his fault , starts to come stops then comes again , should have nowhere near that

I don't think he's ready yet TTT. Every game I've seen him he's looked dodgy.

I agree based on what we've seen of him so far. It's really early to tell though and he'll, hopefully, improve as he plays more games.
