I think we are goosed. When Rodrigo plays his next game, he won't be fully fit. Will take a further couple of weeks. Forget Bumbleboots. He was broken a long time ago - although I appreciate his help in the promotion push. Out of his depth now. No striker = no goals. We are sinking.

Stevie Wonder could see Rutters slow and predictable step-overs. I was shouting to the wife 'wait to ya see this eegit....wait, wait, wait....there ya go!" (ball removed from him by opposing player).

Have 8 games I think we have a chance (not saying we will of winning and 3 different games where we might pick up a point.

16 more points possible gets us to safety and 18 should. With 7 home games included to average 1.5 points shouldn’t be in achievable.

We are also not in the bottom 3 (yet) which is also an advantage.

Sinisterra and Struijk should now be fully fit. Dallas and Rodrigo may come back in the coming weeks

Bamford may finally realise he has to perform if he wants to keep his 80k per week gig going as a premier league player.

Back 4 (even with Firpo) is looking better.

We have more structure and a coach who seems to know what he wants to do.

There are some truly bad teams down there with us.

We just need to find goals from somewhere and we will be fine.

Are those teams down there really worse than us though? We lost to Foreast and Everton...struggled to get over Southampton...and then Bournemouth were 2 up away against Arsenal. Could you see us being in that position against them at present? 🤔
Hope you are right, but your estimation seems a little high to me.
