Baldwin is only suspended for Dorking on Saturday but still agree we need another centre back preferably with pace as we have missed Brindley as especially with such a high line we are lacking pace
We need a central defender.
At the moment we have Richard Brindley who has been out for weeks.
TAR the same.
Aden Baldwin suspended for 2 more matches.
Connell Rawlinson who is starting to look very tired. Already had 2 spells out this season with injury.
Geraldo Bajrami who promised so much earlier in the season but has become so inconsistant of late.
Yes, we can play Chicks in the back 3 and have Joel Taylor as LWB but we are living on a knife edge.
One more injury or suspension and we are up that creek without a paddle.
Someone on loan at £2k a week for 10 weeks seems a small amount compared to what is at stake.
Also, goalkeepers.LW said in his post match interview that "we are looking at several goalkeepers".
What do we take from that statement? Sam Slocombe maybe has a more serious injury than we thought?
Although he was complimentary about Tiernan Brooks post match, he is worried that we would not have a suitable backup in the squad? Archie Mair does not figure in his plans?

I think I take from his keeper comments it’s not the right time to give Brooks more time. There would be far too much pressure at this stage, imagine if he has a couple of howlers to cost us the title, wouldn’t be fair on the lad. Obviously doesn’t see Mair as good enough, I think we need to get a very experienced keeper at this stage.
I'd put the need for another striker ahead of a CB.
Kacper Łopata has just left Southend and is the kind of player you'd think Football Radar would know about.
Although there will be other clubs looking at him and judging by the way he left Southend he might be the type who might upset the dressing room.
I don't know the guy. I said 'might'. But the fact he was the first one to walk out (and that there don't appear to be others following quickly) suggests he might be looking out for his own interests ahead of his teams.
Also I've read around the situation and his club are pointing lots of fingers at his agent (and suggesting they want a development fee).
But having said all this if he signed I'd welcome him with open arms. I know he's rated by many as one of the best CB in the division and he's 6ft 4 which ought to be of value at set pieces at both ends of the pitch.
He's mentioned on the Wrexham and Chesterfield boards too. So at least one of them may go for him too.
In fairness he is doing his job and not being paid for it.
He wont be on great money so you cant blame him.
Most working people would walk out of their jobs too.
