Personally think we need another player who can put the ball in the net. We created so much in last 2 games but did not convert them enough, now Scott is out for longer we need a backup.

We also conceded 3 goals, all of which could have been avoided.

True but if we score 1 more goal in each match, which most people think we should have..... Add the 4 points to our total and we would be in the driving seat.

When is the last time Slocombe saved a penalty and how could the soft pen at Bromley have been avoided?

We were horribly unlucky against Dagenham not withstanding poor defending for the last goal.

Unfortunately not many clubs will be willing to let a goalscorer leave at this time of the season.

Bule "Personally think we need another player who can put the ball in the net."

With the possible exception of Liverpool, I don't think there is a team in the world who wouldn't say this

The only time where I’ve thought we had excellent cover (and options) up front was when we had Dennis, Wotton and Thomas at the club, since then the cover has been not good to say the least. We’ve been very fortunate since then not to have an injury to our main striker who we’ve relied on each season to get goals. If Langstaff was injured now for a few weeks we would have virtually no options to drop straight in,

Irrespective of whether we would like another striker:

Do we need a new central defender in the squad?
My vote is a definite Yes.

The operative word in the question is "need".

Like or need, the question follows can we get a quality new central defender who is ready to hit the ground running immediately?
