With this Lineker stuff it got me wondering why on earth the BBC bother with this nonsense policy of theirs.
Why shouldn't their (our) employees be allowed to have an opinion??

I was listening to Radio WM the other morning and whatever you may think Rakeem Omar has grown on me but he does need to the support of the main news reader Lou Hancock to make the show work. And to be fair their relationship works quite well.
However, on this particular show Rakeem was talking about Sam Smith and he himself seemed to be erring on the side of disapproval for his/her/their recent antics.
Rookie Rakeem then had the AUDACITY to ask seasoned pro Lou Hancock her own OPINION!
She sounded like she nearly spat out her soya latte and bumbled on about she could see why some other people may or may not approve or disapprove. How dare someone ask her live on air what her opinion was!!!????
The whole scenario was laughable
