Is this is his first sending off?
I love the way quite radical socialists on here will support a virtue signalling plastic socialist purely because he tweets quite offensive political opinions In this case, that attack their hated Tories.
Seems the smarmy tw*t has gone a step too far this time and been suspended by the BBC

Shearer and Wright have both pulled out of MOTD tomorrow night.
Neither pulled out of going to Qatar.
This was posted by sid earlier, but you didn't answer any of his questions:
I'll now ask a couple of questions.
Who are the "quite radical socialists on here"?
Who actually finds his "quite offensive political opinions" offensive?
At least the BBC are doing what they usually do, bowing down to the right.
Strangely, this will do far more good for Lineker than it will the BBC!
Must admit I find this latest development really funny.
Those who moan the loudest about snowflakes and cancel culture are suddenly deeply offended!
This is hilarious. Who would have thought Gary Lineker could unite the left and right together in calling for the BBC to be defunded.
"Everyone should cancel their direct debits for the TV licence....you are effectively just funding the tory PR machine"
From a purely selfish point of view, I hope this is resolved and Lineker is returned to MOTD asap.
I actually quite like the man, although I don’t necessarily agree with some of his views and comments, but I do believe he has the right to make them.
However, the main concern for me is that Jermaine Genius, is reportedly the long term replacement for Lineker on MOTD and that is the equivalent of replacing Sue Barker on QoS with that so called comedian from Bolton or wherever!
I hate JJ as much as he hates Notts County - which, come to think of it, is probably the main reason why I hate the arrogant so and so!
Apologies if I’m trivialising a serious thread but MOTD would never be the same again.
The tweets may have had another reason

Everything's going to be ok. Our very own NottsCountySon is currently on Sky News offering to present MOTD.
