To be honest I retired when I was 59 got a pay off had a mad 18 months drinking & gambling then my brain what I've got left of it! kicked in I didn't want to be scratching for money in the following years so more or less kicked gambling on horses into touch. Odd bet on the horses this meeting. Lotto my gamble now.

Lost £28 today so I'm not a pauper yet ....I might have a go again tomorrow or save my money to back our saviour Jordan 'baby' Hugill to slam in some 2+ or 3 + goals in a match

I always draw money out of my Bet Fred account when I win, put it into premium bonds.

2 weeks ago I won £700 on French lotto, took out £500, straight into premium bonds.

    [QUOTE=Ericsladkilnhurst;40239731][QUOTE=Ericsladkilnhurst;40239111]Posting early - I'm going 3 x £5 doubles, 1 x £5 treble at Cheltenham.

Facile Vega --- Supreme Novices Hurdle ....... 1.30 race
El Fabiolo ----- Arkle Challenge Trophy ......... 2.10 race
    Stateman ----- Champion Hurdle ................. 3.30 race

Facile Vega - Made a mistake last fence, when just in front, so in 2nd place
El Fabiolo - Won race easily
State man - 2nd but went down to a superior horse in Constitution Hill

I have had a £2 bet on placepot at Cheltenham. 6 races

    1st - Facile Vega ......... ran 2nd
    2nd - El Fabiolo ........... Won
    3rd - Corach Rambler ... Won
    4th - State man ........... ran 2nd
    5th - Honeysuckle ........ Won
    6th - Tekao ................. Lost - not placed

Last leg of placepot let me down, with Tekao unplaced.
    So lost £22 yesterday.

With my lotto win Saturday that's £630 I'm up this week will save me getting money out of the bank for a couple of weeks. As I've said 1st race today on English form like look of one but Irish seem to have in most races here better horses simple as that.

With my M/M name, using my Fathers Christian name, I had to back Dads Lad.

    £10 e-way Dads Lad @ 25/1 - Cheltenham 16.50
