What a night that was, I remember looking at the table at 5pm on Saturday and it looked like a lost cause...7 points and -4 GD behind Hollywood, now 3 days later the gap is 1 point and level on GD... this team never knows when its beaten... momentum is a huge thing and let's hope its swinging in our favour now, huge game away to Barnet the weekend but if we show up like the second half tonight we should have more than enough to take the points, let's hope Bromley can do us a turn also

We need to carry the second half form on to Barnet and the rest of the season. If we do, I don't think any team in the division can live with us.
After that 2nd half I dont fear any team in this league or in the play offs if need be.However I do fear the refs !!

I think maybe we weren't as bad in the first half as people might think, and it was down to how much effort Eastleigh were putting in to close us down. That is all well and good if you can continue doing that for the whole game, but it showed in the second half that they had completely run out of gas. I thought that once we sensed they were blowing out of their a**es we just upped a gear and sailed into the sunset. Some f our football in the second half was a joy to behold. A quick word about the referee....shi*te.

Agree… shocking refereeing again. Definitely a penalty to them first half, but yet again, Langstaff is virtually garrotted in the second half and… nothing.

Soft penalty to us… Ref swayed by the crowd. Loved it when it was 1-1 and their players are collapsing all over the pitch but once we took the lead, they looked like they had a hot poker shoved up their arse! Fastest substitution in history.

Evans on Saturday was holding their player from every corner and not looking at the ball and was doing the same tonight, he could have given them a penalty in the first 10 minutes. Why do players do that?

Well played to the Kop second half too, sounded great and I'm in Lane end corner of the Pavis.

Very enjoyable night in the end. Some of the comfortable home games before Christmas were good, but they were a bit one sided. We’ve had a few humdingers lately where we’ve shown a lot of quality and character to come through, and tonight was another one of those. That second half performance was up there with the best of the season, and I didn’t really think we were too bad in the first half. Ruben immense.

I do not see on what planet the ref gives their penalty but not ours on Macca. Very strange.

Can you imagine a playoff semi final against them and we’re relying on the refs down here to get the decisions at least mostly right? Horrible.

There are a few fans on here that understand how it works which unfortunately was a mirror of the crowd in the main stand - I was embarrassed first half of how much stick the Notts players got from the crowd when a mistake was made surely they have built up some credit - in fairness the kop looked they tried to lift them
WE ALL NEED TO DO THIS (the players say how much this helps them)
The first half Eastleigh came out massively pumped up hence the Manager getting booked so early and they didn’t give us any space with their man to man press and part of the plan was making TB kick long, and the only two players that were able to lose their players were Nemane and Ruben.
So it wasn’t how bad we had played but how well they had stopped us playing and 0.0 I would have been reasonably happy with how much energy they had used.
The 2nd we did step up but them being on the ropes and knackered gave us more adrenaline.
Thought CLE did well and LW putting him centrally and a big further forward helped in he’s strong and decent in the air(similar to Scott) thought 2 games in 4 days was probably a bit too much for JJ and good tactics starting JB and introducing Austin’s pace and energy when they are shot.
All in all great win and also showed great character and they deserve us to believe in them rather than driving over the first pot hole writing the car off
    Cmon you Pies
