Well, the Cardiff manager seemed to be happy with drowning his players

If the roles were reversed,of course we would be really p**sed off but I'd like to think that I'd take the rational viewpoint that sometimes in life, things just don't go your way rather than blame a football club for the weather! The referee called the game off so why not blame him if they have to have someone to blame. The referee must have followed protocols etc and taken advice throughout the 40 odd minutes or so. The use of the sprinklers at half time would have had no effect at all. They give the pitch 'a misting' not a drenching.
The white line marking was destroyed too. Can’t reinstate that in soggy conditions
Looks like the last Tuesday in April or first Tuesday in May are the realistic dates to reschedule
Ben Wiles could be back by then
In the 70s and 80s there wouldn't even have been a pitch inspection and play would have continued. Bloody snowflake generation 😀
I’m sure if we carried on and won then they would’ve been saying we cheated by not abandoning the game.
I wouldn’t be surprised if EFL give us a fine or something due to fans chanting, they like many others don’t do humour
The lad (groundsman) was trying to spread the water about to try and drain it quicker which he was doing by spreading a small amount back on pitch but obviously some don’t see it like that
