If Wood is what we want and need, Why isn’t he involved? A statement like that just makes Taylor look a bit daft in my opinion.
Totally agree. Of late we look like we've just reverted to hoof ball anywhere up the pitch so long as it isn't at the back. We're all over the place in defence and an old head is required at this particular time

I’m sure both parties would admit they could’ve acted differently in hindsight but while he is here o am sure he is professional enough to
Still do a job when called upon.

I feel for MT because one by one he has lost the 3 best midfielders at the club. 2 to injury and one to Boro’s bench. Every week we start with a different back 4 so cannot get any consistency.
I also feel the players know that they just need 2 more wins to be safe and some of them are coasting until the international break.

Where I have questioned his decisions is the formation. Why are we persisting with Hugill up top alone unless we are bombing in crosses?
    Washington brings energy and guile.
We have stopped being a threat from set pieces and even more worryingly stopped pressing the ball when out of possession.

The rain papered over some huge cracks yesterday. A very average Cardiff team looked like galacticos.
I lost count how many times their number 5 had time to ping the ball out wide to feet without laying a glove on him
Great points buddy.....but what will Taylor do about the Hugill situation? We can all see it why can't he or is he too stubborn to change things for the better?

It baffles the mind that one.

I honestly feel we are watching MT learn the same rookie lessons PW did about the championship on his first go at keeping us up.

CE, it's certainly looking like that. He's got to be brave and bold and start with a strong line up. In other words, start full pelt like what he changed the team to in the second half at Birmingham. Go at em Matt, don't sit back inviting teams on, next month is going to be horrendous against the teams we've got to play. Start weak and prepare to lose!

Behave yourself you tinker. By the way, I found my old Speedo's out to wear for the Cardiff replay. Thing is, both the the letter S' have fallen off so I thought it wouldn't look well wearing them...

Wood is still part of RUFC, he’s training and also coaching youngsters and when he’s not doing that he sits in stands

MT must have learnt from Saturday not to start with same back 4 again & Fosu in midfield. If we're staying with 4-3-3

    Victor

    Kioso Humphreys Blackett Leo

    Coventry Odoffin Rathbone

    Chioe Hugill Washington

then at least Hugill he's got some support up front.

Who plays, where and what formation is secondary. What MT first needs to sort out is to stop playing football like 5 years olds, where everyone moves towards the ball. Spread out! Move away from the ball and give players space.

Half the time we lose the ball or don't have anyone to pass to is because we crowd ourselves out. You can throw a blanket over half the team they are that close to each other. Do you expect Chieo to dance between 4 players in close proximity. At least two of them are only near him because they are marking two of our players who are also within 5 yards of him.
And then you wonder why there is no one in the box. When there are more players nearer the corner flag then the box there is something wrong.
