MT got it wrong in the team selection, with only playing one upfront, Hugill needed a
    another striker alongside him.

Cardiff City will feel aggrieved with the game being abandoned, with them completely
in control of the game, they could have won by three goals easily.

MT must now see that playing with the lone striker is not working, & change the set
    up accordingly.
You may be right ELK - they may have won by 3 goals easily - - - - don't forget though MT took Fergie off just before halftime to put Lindsay into midfield for that bit more ' bite'.
Then he took Peltier & Odoffin off to put Kioso & Kelly on start of second half.
Kelly to play alongside Hugill perhaps??
A bit more attacking flair from right back Peter Kioso maybe??
Seemed to me MT new it wasn't working & decided to change it.

Could well have been a completely different 2nd half to the 1st half.

Can't disagree with this. Iffs what's and maybezz which we will never know.
At least we have a manager who is willing to try different thing when it's not working. It wasn't long ago the old Rufc manager was getting slated for only having a plan A...
Was it Vs QPR when we were 2.1 up and he brought on 2 strikers?. Could you ever imagine warne doing that

I think MT had worked out that Cardiff were playing 5 across the middle and that their 25 (Philogene) was getting lots of space and nobody was picking him up on his runs. He was starting to boss the game so the move to bring on a more central midfield player with Lindsay made much more sense.

Well if we do nothing else this season I hope we beat them 5-0 in the return game. I have never heard such lack of respect from them culminating in some Welsh member of the senedd putting his tuppence worth in. I sympathise with the fans who travelled but I am totally fed up with people taking snippets of the action and fitting them to fit their agenda.

Everything I hate about sport is this win at all costs mentality.

Cayton pal, Why get it so wrong in the first place for the third game on the trot? Stop praising Taylor’s inability to start well from the off. I’m starting to lose patience with his softly approach hoping to change it if it’s going wrong.

Yes I was starting to question Taylor, it was embarrassing for professionals not to mark their two best players and it pissed me off.

He then made a sub just before half time the two at half time so credit for that and we would’ve have gone on and won

Exactly, there is one where we cheer the abandonment of the game being announced. What the clip doesn't show was that the farce to call off the game had been going on for 45 mins with more than one pitch inspection (lets give in another 5 mins was going to make little difference), at least one too many bing bongs and Cardiff fans giving the groundstaff abuse.
That and our inept first half display.

They’re not happy, they want answers.
Ffs Howard Webb was there on the touch line, why didn’t you talk to him then instead of walking off you silly man

It’s no wonder world is on its arse when we have stupid people in it. Seriously warns us not to do what? Ffs
Twitter did give me a laugh but the seriousness from some is just shockingly worrying

It will be a full replay and maybe warn them not to do it again but will be a full replay when they have a full fit squad

Only thing missing Saturday was Noah's Ark, but at least the players went in Two by Two to the dressing rooms.
