Bit of a tricky one. Robson has overseen a massive shift in attitude and effort, and the results say he should be given a chance until at least the end of the season.

But with the coveted 3rd place trophy back on the cards, do we risk him or go for someone with pedigree as a long term option. Or is Barry the long term option?

Regardless, they need to give us some updares of their current thinking.

My preference of course is for getting RJ in place during this international break. On a 6 yesr contract. We'll then be battling for 2nd and beyond.

You would definitely see attacking football…you lot know I hate boring football.

On a serious note….quite a few Dons fans are getting all hot and bothered about wanting Barry Robson as manager. When push came to shove we got licked by Celtic under him….havs everyone forgotten that for some reason? The guy is learning the trade and I do like him but we need a proper manager in and not the cheap skate option which the board will have you believe was the best one. If someone can’t be a successful Aberdeen manager then they are in real trouble. I believe it would be as good a management job as any in the respect that there is no drive to win anything. It’s just about finishing in the top 3-4 in the league and getting to the odd cup final. We don’t even attempt to win any trophies now…it’s just about taking part. What’s hard about that?

We play like a team who are going to get licked by Celtic…we don’t even try to win the matches against them. It’s embarrassing and needs changed. Until Aberdeen as a club change the way they think and operate we will get more of the same. I would kick Celtic off the park if it gave me the best chance of winning. Scoring goals against them is a must be we will continue to sit in like a terrified lamb waiting to go to slaughter. No fight from the club equals no intention of winning.
